Der Name gefällt mir immer noch, auch wenn sich manche mit der Aussprache schwer tun. Der Begriff Echo hat Poesie, er ist musikalisch, klingend. Ohne Zweifel gibt es Echos, doch haben sie etwas Immaterielles, als pendelten sie zwischen zwei Welten. Und die Donau, an der ich aufgewachsen bin, liebe ich ja sowieso. Es gefällt mir, Freunde einzuladen, mit ihnen Projekte zu verfolgen, Pläne zu schmieden über Musik zu diskutieren, Aufführungskonzepte zu entwickeln und am allermeisten gemeinsam Musik zu machen.
